Transforming education from within - Current trends in the status and development of teachers

This paper published on World Teachers’ Day 2022 aims to provide a contextual, data-driven overview of the key challenges facing teachers around the world in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and is intended to inform the discussions that will take place in the various sessions of the 2022 commemorations of this international day. It will also serve as a basis for further action and global engagement to strategically support teachers to innovate and transform teaching from within.
