Sustainability from the Start is a free, research-based course developed by Kristianstad University, OMEP, and edChild and funded by the European Union to help early childhood educators teach sustainability through play, reflection, and everyday practice. Available in multiple languages (English, French, Spanish, Croatian, Czech and Swedish) through the ECE Academy app (App Store, Google Play), the course provides practical tools, activities, and inspiration for integrating environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability into transformative early learning for children from Birth to 8 years. Through the platform, you will be able to download the app and access additional resources, including storybooks featuring the 8 Friends.
