First Teacher Task Force Steering Committee Meeting of 2026

The Steering Committee of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030 (Teacher Task Force) will convene its first meeting of 2026 on 18 March 2026, held virtually at 13:30 (Paris time).

This will be a closed meeting, open to Steering Committee members only.

The Steering Committee plays a central governance role in guiding the work of the Secretariat and setting the strategic and thematic direction of the Teacher Task Force. Composed of elected representatives from across the Task Force’s membership, it provides oversight, reviews progress and supports alignment with the Task Force’s mandate.

During this session, members will review key governance documents, consider progress from the previous year, and discuss strategic orientations for the 2026–2029 period. The meeting will also address matters related to membership and Steering Committee composition, as well as other items relevant to the effective functioning of the partnership.

The outcomes of the meeting will inform the continued implementation of the Teacher Task Force’s work in support of strengthening the teaching profession globally.
