Three-year action plan 2021–2023 for the Stratégie nationale sur la question enseignante [National Teacher Strategy for Burkina Faso – SNAQUE]

Burkina Faso has developed a National Teacher Strategy for the 2021–2025 period, driven by the desire to not only meet the commitments made to the international community, but also and above all to improve the management of the education system. The teacher strategy was developed after analysing the results of the study into teaching conducted by the Ministry with the technical and financial support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

This is the first three-year action plan for implementing the strategy. It covers the 2021–2023 period and was developed through a participatory process led by the technical team in charge of developing the teacher strategy. The document includes (i) a reminder of the SNAQUE’s components, (ii) a presentation of the selected programmes and (iii) the provisions for implementing the SNAQUE’s three-year action plan.
