The Global Education Coalition will hold its Sixth Annual Meeting on 24 March 2026 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
Bringing together UNESCO Member States, Coalition members and education stakeholders, the annual meeting serves as a high-level platform to reflect on progress, strengthen partnerships and advance the digital transformation of education.
Under the theme “Turning vision into value: Transforming education together,” the meeting will explore the socio-economic impact of investing in digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). Discussions will focus on how system-wide, country-led approaches can translate digital and AI investments into tangible social and economic benefits for learners, teachers and societies — particularly in the context of accelerating progress towards SDG 4.
The programme will feature high-level plenary discussions and ministerial dialogue, alongside interactive exchanges addressing teacher empowerment, skills development, digital learning ecosystems and innovative financing approaches.
As a key UNESCO platform for collaboration, the Global Education Coalition continues to align expertise, resources and innovation to support inclusive, equitable and resilient education systems. The outcomes of this annual meeting will help inform collective efforts to prepare education systems for an increasingly digital and AI-enabled future.
