Tashkent Declaration and Commitments to Action for Transforming Early Childhood Care and Education
The Tashkent Declaration and Commitments to Action for Transforming Early Childhood Care and Education was adopted by the participants of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), that took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 14-16 November 2022.
One of the guiding principles of the declaration focuses on ECCE personnel, establishing the goals of:
- Strengthening the education and training systems of ECCE personnel.
- Enhancing the attractiveness of the ECCE profession and providing opportunities for career advancement.
- Regulating the quality of services and qualifications of ECCE personnel in the non-state sector.
