This guidance is a self-learning tool for educators working in formal, informal, or non-formal settings with children affected by armed conflict, including those formerly associated with armed forces and armed groups (CAAFAG). It offers foundational knowledge, pedagogical strategies, and reflective practices to support reintegration and inclusive education. Drawing from field research, expert interviews, and Education in Emergencies resources, the guide emphasizes emotional wellbeing, learner readiness, and contextualized teaching. It aims to strengthen educators’ capacity to foster safe, supportive learning environments for conflict-affected children and youth.
