This report has been produced by the Conseil supérieur de  l’éducation du Québec, an independent body whose mandate is to advise the Ministers of Education and Higher Education on any matter relating to education.  The report discusses the pathways into the teaching profession in Québec, it analyzes the impact of teacher shortages on the system and on students and concludes with a series of recommendations and orientations.
