There will also be success stories and proposals for the application of these methodologies that aim to guide the identification of improvement points, needs and problems in the classroom.

    Physics teaching module (TPACK based)

    This module structure is developed with distance learning in mind and emphasizes use of technology in teaching and learning concepts in physics. Each unit seeks to enhance a particular competency or approach through the concepts discussed under that particular unit. It is envisaged that as the trainees complete a particular unit they will not only be proficient in the physics subject content but also in the competency or approach being targeted.

    Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) is a new teaching framework that integrates technology, pedagogy and content knowledge. This framework ensures that technology, pedagogy and content are seamlessly integrated in a teaching and learning context. TPCK as a teaching approach ensures that teachers and their learners acquire and apply technological skills relevant to specific contexts. The module demonstrates how teachers can use their technological and pedagogical knowledge to present content and to assign learning and assessment activities to teach different aspects of a subject.

    Welcoming diversity in the learning environment: teachers' handbook for inclusive education

    This teachers' handbook is intended to serve as a practical resource to help teachers and teacher educators to gain understanding of the multiple issues of inclusion in their day-to-day work and acquire competencies that facilitate inclusive pedagogy. The handbook is comprised of nine modules – each of which presents the conceptual discussion of key topics related to inclusion and diversity and features some promising case studies, instruments and approaches. It also provides a framework for ensuring learning continuity in the wake of crises and emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and deals with a range of topics aimed at building the capacities of teachers and teacher educators for recovery and resilience in education systems in the COVID-19 context.
