Teachers and teaching in Sierra Leone: Teacher quality management study

This study analyzes the scope and content of the teaching profession in Sierra Leone, describing its main challenges and providing recommendations to better align teacher training with education needs. In line with the Free Quality School Education program, launched in 2018, the analysis focuses on basic education. It also considers the role of the Teaching Service Commission in managing teachers, including registration, licensing, and training.
