6th International Policy Dialogue Forum - Final report: The management of teacher education. Trends in policies and practice: What works, why and for whom?

The 6th Policy Dialogue forum aimed to build on the dynamics generated from the previous ones, and takes one step further looking specifically into the core of teacher education at the junction between policy and practice. This was the reason for the choice of theme Teacher Education Management: what works, why and for whom? The management of teacher education has considerable bearing on the number of qualified teachers recruited and deployed. Teacher education plays an important role in determining the quality of the teaching force and by extension, the quality of education.
