Teachers are the cornerstone on which we build inclusive, equitable and high-quality education. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected teachers' ability to maintain quality education in light of school closures, the transition to the remote teaching system, and the challenges of returning to school. However, the "Covid-19" pandemic has also shed new light on the way teachers lead classrooms, schools and communities. To ensure the continuation of quality education and learning, so that countries do not lose the pace of efforts to achieve the sustainable development goals, leadership will play an increasingly important role in this regard. In order to promote a healthy and equitable learning environment for all, including students who have been further marginalized by the pandemic, countries need to provide quality training in a manner that ensures
teachers have the opportunity to acquire relevant skills in order to enhance their leadership roles.
